League: Wednesday Night Hockey League

Primary League

Chicken

Smooth skater, puck mover, named after a small flightless bird.  What more do you need to know about the man known as Chicken.  Joining the league during the six pack expansion, Chicken has been patrolling the blue lines for the Dusters since joining the league, and was quick to learn the main rule about being a Duster, which of course is APB.  Always Pass to Baz.  After battling some injuries, Chicken is looking to re-establish himself as the anchor on the Dusters blue line and Baz’s favourite passer.

Carl Bering

Bette MIddler once sang “It must of been cold there in my shadow”,  and Carl Bering shed a tear as these words cut straight to his soul.  Brother of former first overall draft pick Ryan Bering, who is out there scoring all the goals, hogging all the glory (and the puck) Carl has been quietly establishing himself as a standout defenceman in the WNHL.  Don’t let the haircut fool you either, Carl is not off the glass and out kind of player either, more like the Nick Lidstrom, never notice him because he never does anything wrong kind of player.  The Bering brothers will continue to be a force in the WNHL, but you’ll only hear about one of though.
