Lance Romance has become one of the most notorious players in the WNHL, renowned for his end to end skill, as well as his no holds barred style of hockey. This reputation has only been solidified since he brought home the King Street Cup this past season, and scored some highlight reel goals in his past two years with the league. Another versatile player, Lance is able to earn his keep where ever his GM puts him, making him an asset to any team.
Season: 2018-2019
Laro
After essentially drafting half of Stelcobras with GM Sajn last year, Laro is ready to take on his new role as a general manager in the most sought after league in the golden horseshoe. Winner of the Peter Kormos award, the ironer Shiek is no stranger to a blocked shot, hacks to the back of the knee, and more blocked shots. Without question, one of the toughest to play against in the league, the league is eager to see how his team shapes up.
Donaldson
Donaldson is coming off of an important year, which saw him bring home the King St. Cup (though we will choose not to believe reports of weird things done with it). This year, however, he faces the challenge of potentially being separated from his coach, friend, and teacher Cockell. A storyline that could stretch into a season itself, it will be interesting to see whether or not the Dman/Cman combo lives on, or whether Cockell will have to find someone else to, in the words of Paul Simon, ‘call me Al’.
