Congrats to the WNHL Death Squad

Congrats to the WNHL Death Squad for being Top Division Champions in Thorold this Weekend. The Death Squad is a collection of elite players from WNHL Tournament Team. They have had a few tournaments canceled due to COVID-19 (Shocker, I know) but had a chance to flex their muscle this past weekend. Well earned OV’s for the Death Squad. Thanks to Coach Baz for gathering this group of Merry Men!

WNHL Super Saturday is Set!

We have rescheduled our Final WNHL Super Sunday to make it a Saturday! 2pm on March 12th the Meridian Centre in St.Catharines will host the battle of the Legends vs. Tunnelers. Legends will be playing for the Welland Humane Society and Tunnelers will be playing for Autism Ontario. Should be a great day and there will a Family Skate open to a donation of your choosing following the game. Bring the family out for some high flying hockey action and a skate.

February the WNHL is Back!

February is usually for lovers but this year it is for the lovers of greatest beer league known to Niagara. February 2nd the WNHL will return to the ice in Welland and Pelham. The regular season has been extended to March 16th 2022 all games have been rescheduled from January 2022. The five week playoffs that feature every team playing each other once for the coveted two spots to play in the Championship Game for the King Street Cup with start March 23rd and wrap up April 20th (snooch).

The dates for the Rescheduled 3rd WNHL Super Sunday and WNHL Championship in April will be announced soon.
