Hey WNHL…..You did such a great job supporting Open Arms Mission at the WNHL Christmas Classic now here is another opportunity for Classic Albums Christmas at Little Nashvilles in Downtown Welland. Saturday December 23rd come out and see some of your WNHL Athletes show their music side with albums from Sloan, Me First and the Gimmie Gimmies and System of a Down. Only 10 bucks at the door or only 5 bucks with a canned good. This is our 7th year and they are always wicked fun.

We simply have the best hockey league in Canada….On Saturday December 2nd the WNHL Christmas Classic Tournament in support of the Open Arms Mission brought in 1917 pounds of food for Wellanders in need. This totally crushed last year’s record of 1700 pounds. Everyone had a great time and the Welland Mustangs managed by Eryn Warden brought home the Championship Hats.

Thanks to our key sponsors The Rex Hotel, Presstime Design, City of Welland Staff and Mossimo’s Pizza for helping this tournament happen for its 3rd year. Be sure to play next year because it keeps getting better!

A few WNHL Athletes and their fellow friends and family helped out this past Saturday at the 2017 Welland Food Drive. Our team was so amazing at looking good and collecting food they were featured us on a Cogeco Your TV feature. Check out WNHL Athletes Matt Sajn, Scott Macleod and Alain Robichaud working to the help the Welland Community. Also Barty`s Dad Alain Breton for being Le Host with Le Most and his team at Club Richelieu for being HQ for the Food Drive.
