Another #spatalk champion, Beadle is one of the most explosive d-men in the WNHL. With the ability to change the pace of a game on a dime, Beadle’s strengths as an all-around hockey player are only surpassed by his crooning abilities. This past summer, it was rumoured that twelve pregnancies occurred between East Main and Lincoln, during his set on the Illuminaqua stage. In the words of Kanye West, ‘no one man should have that much power’.
Season: 2018-2019
Mark Doyle
As one of the last remaining WNHLers in the infamous ‘Chirpton’ group, Doyle frustrates opposing teams with an apparent inability to make a bad pass, and a way of seeing the game that makes it seem like he is playing in birds-eye view. Doyle is especially dangerous this year, as the WNHL returns to his hometown of Pelham, giving him the home-ice advantage and the ability to fit in another nine holes before having to show up to games.
Alain Robichaud
Another recent winner of the King Street Cup, Alain now walks around East Side Welland with added pep to his step, while swinging his stick at passers-by with one hand. The second of the ‘fedora wearers union’, Alain has been a regular since day one, and his loyalty is apparent each week when he puts it all on the ice. As well, he’s like 7’7, and can turn the front of the net into a warzone.
