The First WNHL Super Sunday featuring the Crown Room Kings vs the Atlas Steelers was a huge success. The Kings carried on their undefeated season with a 4-2 win over the Steelers. Their Charity the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of South Niagara won the pot of donated money of $1456.30. Thanks to everyone who donated and promoted the big game! The next Super Sunday features the Dain City Dusters vs the Merritt Islanders on November 21st 2021 6pm at the Meridian Centre.
Sunday October 17th is the first WNHL Super Sunday @6pm @meridian_centre where the Crown Room Kings and Atlas Steelers will face off for their favorite charity. The Kings are playing for Big Brothers/Big Sister and The Steelers are playing for Pope Francis Centre Young Mothers Fund. The winning team will get all money raised for their charity. The WNHL is ready to launch into their new season starting very soon. Here is some crucial dates for all those amazing WNHL Athletes out there……
NEW UPDATE – Last year we introduced the “Game of the Month” where we recorded the game and each team picked a charity to play for and the winning team got the funds from both teams for their charity. We will be doing that again this season but it called the WNHL Super Sunday. Each team will have one Super Sunday at the Meridian Centre in St.Catharines with big music, big ice and under the big lights with the cameras rolling. These games will be on your schedule far in advance so you can clear your schedule. All games will be edited for highlights from our crack team of Scottie 2 Time, Fabby and Paco. The charity element will still be included in the Super Sundays.
