What does the WNHL, Bo Jackson, The Merritt Islanders and Welland Jackfish have in common? Actually not too much outside of respect and love to celebrate different sports. On Thursday May 25th the Welland Jackfish Game at the Pond will be recognizing the The Merritt Islanders as the King Street Cup Champions at their game against the Guelph Royals. The time to crown a new King Street Cup Champion is almost here! March 25th at 5pm at the blessed grounds of King Street Ice Palace. We will have 4 games of hockey action, 50/50, Raffle Prizes, Contests, Kids Shootout and most importantly the King Street Cup. All proceeds will be given to the Kristen French Child Advocacy Centre Niagara.
